Sixth Grade
Teacher: Mrs. Riggles
My name is Lori Riggles. I have taught at OLQM as a fourth grade teacher for 13 years. This will be my first year as the sixth grade homeroom teacher. I have been named in Who's Who Among American Teachers twice. Many of my fourth grade projects have been featured in Montgmery Parents, The Montgomery Advertiser, and on WSFA News.
I plan to focus on three important areas to make this a fantastic year: respect, responsibility and response.
RESPECT: Students will be instructed in how to respect themselves, their peers, and adults.
RESPONSIBILITY: In an effort to prepare each student for middle school, each child will be instructed in the responsibilities of being motivated and organized students.
RESPONSE: Students will be expected to answer the call of Jesus. Service to the church, school, and other students will become a daily role for the sixth grader. Students will also work on charity projects to help those from the greater community who are in need.
